Tyson Stapley
Head Coach- U17/18 Boys & Small Group Training
Tyson is the Head Coach of the U17/18 Boys team and also leads weekly Top Talent Elite Small Group Training sessions.
Deeply involved in the Victoria basketball community, Tyson has been coaching since his own high school days. Over the years, he’s worked across all levels of the game; high school, club, and college, on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.
He currently is the Head Coach of the Esquimalt Senior Boys Basketball team and is also an Assistant Coach with the Camosun Chargers Men’s Basketball program.

Phil Ho
Head Coach- U16 Boys
Phil got his start in youth basketball by founding his own club in Hong Kong before moving to Victoria.
Over the past several years, he’s become an active part of the Victoria basketball community, coaching several successful club teams and assistant coaching for the Esquimalt Senior Boys. In addition to joining the Top Talent family, Phil has recently stepped in as the Head Coach of the Junior Boys at St. Andrew’s High School.

Matt Renko
Assistant Coach- U17/18 Boys
Matt has been coaching basketball in Victoria for over a decade, working with both high school and club programs.
He’s now entering his 7th year on the coaching staff at Esquimalt High School on top of Assistant Coaching at Top Talent Basketball.

Tamiya Ness
Assistant Coach- U17/18 Girls
Tamiya recently wrapped up her post-secondary playing career at the University of Winnipeg. Prior to joining the Westman program, she spent three years at Camosun College, where she built strong connections within the Victoria basketball community.
She brings coaching experience from club programs in both Victoria and Winnipeg, including her recent involvement with the Jr. Westmen program.
